About Attorney Jill Ruane

Family has always been an important value in my life.

It started at a very young age. From my parents, I learned the value of hard work, honesty, and compassion. I saw the sacrifices that they made to give me and my brother every opportunity, and support us no matter what. Their love and support had a big impact on me as I was growing up and becoming the person I am today.

Now that I have four kids of my own, I hope to instill the same values in my children. As a parent, I would do anything to make sure that my children feel supported, and that they are healthy and safe.

I understand how fiercely a parent wants to protect their child. I also understand how helpless you can feel when your child goes off into the world, and you can’t control what happens to them or the choices they make.

Sometimes, things go wrong. Accidents happen that you have no control over. No matter how well you have prepared your child to make good choices, or how carefully you have protected them, mistakes happen. But that doesn’t mean that you won’t do everything that you can to protect your child.

If your child is the victim of a personal injury situation, and someone else is at fault, we can work together to make sure that the person who is responsible is held accountable. I can help you recover compensation so that your family can heal from this experience.

I promise to defend your child like a parent would – recognizing that no one is perfect, but that your child deserves support and another chance.

Alternatively, I can protect your child if they face a juvenile offense. As a parent myself, I understand the difficult family dynamics that oftentimes lead a child to a run-in with the law. I have been working with juvenile cases since I became a lawyer in 2007, and it is still my passion in life.

When you hire me, I make you and your family a promise. I not only promise to defend your child to the best of my ability as a lawyer. I also promise to defend your child like a parent would – recognizing that no one is perfect, but that your child deserves support and another chance.

Many of my staff members are parents, and we understand the profound impact that having a child has on a person. We will fight for your child as if they are our own, and help your family through this difficult time.
